attaching shop vac to sander

Is there a standard adaptor you can buy to connect the dust outlet to a vac?

I have something like this:

I have googled and found adaptors, but they're on ebay rather than screwfix/toolstation. I would have thought it would be a standard item.

yes its called an empty pop bottle or mastic tube cut to perhaps 120-160mm long slot full length and lots off electrical tape to give form with extra winds each end to make a good fit
it will work better the more parallel the tube is this may include tape on machine outlet
you can cut the length down once it works to the minimum needed
you can buy stepped adapters

Just saying...................most "plastic bottles" are made really small, heated and air blown into them (while in a mould) Point being if you get it round both ends, then heat it, often they will shrink, giving a tight fit.
