Parkside plunge saw rails

Post by bradford_angler »

Hi are the parkside plunge saw rails compatible across version b1 and d2

I asked the Kompernaß Handelsgesellschaft mbH tech team, but on submitting the model numbers they responded they didn't make one of the models that Lidl sold. I am guessing the PTSS1200D2 was made by someone else or maybe they mis understood my question.

The Kompernass site has replacement rails but quotes they are for the PTSS1200B1 model mine is the new D2 model.

probs worth the risk - wondered if anyone else had bought them ?

The B1 model was by Kompernaß

the D2 model entirely different company called Owim

dunno if they'll fit - in the end I decided to go buy a 2.5m length of 200mm overboard that is 9mm thick and add a small runner for the track.

£9 all in and it gives me 2.5M well enough for full sheet or door trimming

thanks for the update :thumbright:
worth mentioning you need possibly 200mm extra track to allow the saw to start on the track and full support the saw till the blade exits the work
now this will vary by saw off course
we are all ------------------still learning
