Hi there,
What sort of cost should I expect to plasterboard and plaster over a small artex bathroom ceiling? (Developed a few cracks) The one side does slope down slightly as well. I would say the bathroom is only really 3m x 2m
Thanks

Plasterboard over artex

I would fill the cracks and paint over, don't cause unnecessary headaches. I used decorator caulk in a similar situation, I rubbed it in and painted over as it takes paint well.

Plasterboard over artex
That's an option. As it's artex it contains asbestos I think? The ceiling seems to have formed a bubble so not sure if more cracks will appear as well.dewaltdisney wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 3:27 pm I would fill the cracks and paint over, don't cause unnecessary headaches. Wasn't sure how clean it would look filling it as its artex. The aim is its going to be a rental so thought may as well take the time to do it properly whilst no tenants are in.
From photos a local plasterer said it would be upto £450 max.
