You may have gone straight on with emulsion which would have caused delamination of the paint. It is a common error.

I haven't done that, thankfully. I'm still letting it dry before it's tiled on Thursday.dewaltdisney wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:00 am You may have gone straight on with emulsion which would have caused delamination of the paint. It is a common error.

I noticed a mark in the plastering today that I didn't spot before. It's right on the edge of where the tiles will stop.
I've put a toilet roll next to it to give an idea of size.
Is this something that the tiler can address?

When the tiling is done, put your mist coat on the walls, fill any surface defects with filler, and paint over with your finish coats.

Thanks. So you don't think what you saw in the photo would be a problem for the tiler?dewaltdisney wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2023 2:29 pm When the tiling is done, put your mist coat on the walls, fill any surface defects with filler, and paint over with your finish coats.

No, his edge bead may cover some of it possibly, just assess it after he had done and follow my previous post.
