Daft Auction Price

I follow Matt Armstrong on YouTube who has a very good car salvage channel. He was invited by Bonhams to this auction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPp7UAVaowI Everyone will know the car from the film but why anyone would want it amazes me. Worth a look just to see the hammer price.

Incidentally, his channel has 2m subscribers and regularly can get more than 4m views, one video got 8m views. That is more than the original Top Gear at its peak with Clarkson that hit 7m viewers. Not bad for a back room operation.

I take it that the figure you quote for top gear was UK only as a quick google shows that at it's peak it was getting 300 Million viewers worldwide. (Not that I'm a fan of Clarkson)

$750k-1.2 million is about right for a 1989/90 25th anniversary car - it sold for $1.35m (£1.06m)
