Metal sockets screwed to metal pegboard

Post by matt123 »

Hi,

I’m in the process of planning new garage layout and thinking of buying metal pegboard from bott.

I’m no electrician, so before i spend out on the bott panels, is it ok (for my electrician!) to screw metal back boxes directly onto the face of the metal boards? Obviously with longer screws to old the back box on top of the boards.

Cheers,
Matt

Yes, why do you think it wouldn't be?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.
