Half Wheeling

In my cycling days, there was a thing called half wheeling. Often we would ride two abreast, depending on traffic in the rural areas, and if unwittingly your front wheel edged ahead of the bike next to you the rider would speed up to stay level. Conscious or subconsciously we do not want to be left behind and it is an auto reaction. I was reminded of this yesterday when a similar thing happened on the A12. I was in a steady traffic flow in the inside lane and the outside lane was also travelling at a similar pace. There was a t*at in a BMW parallel to me so in boredom I decided to half wheel him. I edged a foot or so in front and he immediately pulled up to stay even. Now I always leave a good safe space gap between me and the car ahead but the t*at had only about a car length in front of him. I half wheel again and he comes up level and now his gap is diminishing. I am wondering how far I can push him when Mrs D says 'Are you half wheeling that idiot, stop it you will cause a crash'. Busted, I slow a little and sure enough he then drops back parallel.

i was driving to work a couple of weeks back. i was in a part of town where there is 2 lanes one way and one the other. at the round about both lanes can go straight ahead and down a one way street merge into one. at the top there is a crossing me and this t*at in a big audi both stop to let someone cross the road. im in the left lane and got away first. the audi should therefore have let me go. but the t*at didnt. he matched me for speed despite it now only being one lane. i sped up so did this tosser. i ended up having to drop back so he got a few flashes of lights and a blast of the horn. obviously an audi is faster than my van....

at the next set of traffic lights they were on red. we both stop. they go onto green and he deliberatley takes an age to get going.

Audi and BMW drivers seem to be the worst, it is almost like they feel they have the right to have exclusive use of the road. That is why I half wheeled the t*at above as he had come in too quickly and did not leave much of a gap between him and the car in front. Mrs D does not approve of my mind games
