We got some perfect-fit blinds online as were advised they'd fit both style of tilt & turn windows we have. For one of the windows the bracket fits in perfectly, however, for the window in the picture force or dishwashing liquid, they do not.
Does anyone know if using a stanley knife to try to jam the bracket in, would work? Or if it would it damage the bead?
Are there any other tricks to installing perfect-fit blinds with or without brackets?

Fitting Perfect-Fit blinds
I've fitted Perfect Fit blinds to a few of the windows and doors in our house. As you are probably aware having fitted one already, the brackets go between the glass and the rubber seal. Are both of your windows the same? Can you lift the rubber seal on the one you are having trouble with? Try using an old credit card to start the gap then fit the bracket.
