Is this sideboard worth anything?

I have a sideboard to sort, it's taking space but don't know what's made of and if it's worth repair the damage to the top? Photos attached.

Sadly not. It is a mass produced reproduction style sideboard popular in the 70s to 90s followed by pine which had a period and then light oak became the norm. I know a guy who took that stuff to Belgium where there was still a market back in the 90s, I gave him our mahogany dining room table and chairs. It might be worth looking at local charities that help folk with used furniture. Failing that it is a knockdown to flat over to the timber recycling. Probably not what you wanted to hear

I had doubts if it's worth anything, was left by previous house owner. Probably it's from 90's. Definitely will call charities if they are interested, the size and weight is the issue for transportation, It's 2 meter long.
Just curious, can you tell what sort of timber is made of? It's not veneered, how did they do the different shades and designs.

It is a veneer board. Early 90s they were veneered ply, and the edge moldings were let in to cover the board edges. Later they switched to MDF which weighs a ton so yours might have an MDF core. The colour was often not natural as it was very uniform, it was like a paint rather than a stain as it was sprayed on, you can see this where the finish has delaminated on the top. If you have access to a chainsaw that will help you get it into car sized pieces for the dump.
