What to use in this hole of the slab

Hi
This where the gas meter was before it was moved to an exterior location. Cadent came to view the rusty steel pipe and below the meter and moved the meter and replaced the pipe with plastic to gas mains.
The slab is two layered, with a DPM in between the two. How should I and what should I use to 'pack' the hole before adding concrete/DPM please? Thanks in advance.

Where is the hole and what is at the bottom of it?

The hole is in the interior of the extension, against an exterior wall, with an interior wall at a right angle to the exterior wall. At the bottom of it feels like sandy detritus.

Will the area take any load? If not then consider putting a hard substrate like a roof tile to span the hole. Lay concrete over this and then finish with a membrane and screed to match the surrounding floor levels.

There's no need for access to the hole going forward.

I hadn't thought about a hard substrate like roof tile, sounds like a good idea, as there won't be load bearing there in the corner.
