Report on first use of Lidl cordless hand clippers

Post by dewaltdisney »

from this recent thread viewtopic.php?t=109607 I picked up one of the 15V Lidl cordless tools mentioned. Yesterday I was trimming a hedge using my petrol pole clippers and I thought I would use the new tool on the wispy bits at the bottom. I tried the small hedge clipper attachment and regrettably, it was useless. It stalled on the first thin frond so I put it to one side and carried on with other tools. I had left it to charge a few days ago but it did not seem to have any guts. I will recharge it and then see if it improves, the inbuilt battery might dissipate power standing idle like the old Nicad's used to. I have to say that on the first outing, it was like a Chad Valley kid's toy. Still, for £15, nothing ventured etc.
