I'm looking to have a 1200mm x 800mm shower enclosure and I would like the shower panels to extend slghtly beyond the shower enclosure to provide additional support.
I've been advised that I would need a two sided 1200 x 900 shower panel kit, containing one 900mm square edge panel and one 1200mm square edge panel.
I would imagine that one panel can be cut can down for the 800mm side of the enclosure but how would the other panel extend beyond the 1200mm side?
Would I have to get the next size up instead which is the 1700 x 900 shower panel kit?

Shower panels for my new shower enclosure
Hey there! Spot on about extending the shower panels for extra support. Here's how to tackle that:
Panel Options:
Cut Down One Panel: You're right, you can absolutely cut down the 1200mm panel to fit your 800mm shower enclosure. Just make sure you have the right tools for a clean cut (circular saw recommended).
Extend the 1200mm Panel: Here are a couple options for extending the other panel beyond the 1200mm enclosure:
Purchase a Trim Piece: Some shower panel suppliers offer trim pieces that can be added to the end of a panel for extending it by a few centimeters. This might be a perfect solution if you only need a small extension.
Custom Cut a Return Panel: If you need a larger extension, you could get a local carpenter or handyman to cut a custom return panel from matching material. This would create an "L" shape that wraps around the end of the enclosure.
Pro Tip: When cutting panels yourself, double-check measurements and cut carefully to avoid wasting material.

If DIY cutting isn't your thing, then getting the 1700mm panel might be easier. Just be sure you can accommodate the extra length in your bathroom layout.
now, did you use spc wall panels with waterproof before? before?
The choice is yours!
