How to remove this alarm sensor?

Post by ljrc »

We moved into our house five years ago and have never used our alarm system. I want to remove this sensor permanently from the ceiling. Is this something I can do without using an electrician? Maybe cutting the wires and covering the ends with electrical tape or something?

To my knowledge the alarm has never been “set” or “configured” and has not gone off in our time living here.

How to remove this alarm sensor?

If you just cut the cable, and if the unit has power, either from the mains or it’s internal battery, the Saunders WILL go off

Do you have the access code for it ?
