Electric Vehicle

Post by Joflaherty »

I know that some people have used their EV to run the likes of a TV during a power cut. Has anyone ever created a permanent link to the home - limited by a power protection trip of some sort to avoid excessive demand, eg cooker! Wouldn't attempt anything myself, but wondered if an electrician would consider it feasible?

In theory yes, in practice no.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

pifalls
unless the vehicle has an outlet [13amp socket for example]then circuitry wont permit backflow and you will probbaly not be permitted under warrantee terms

Hi,

Easy for me; I don't want an EV at any cost.

Kind regards, Col.
