Which jigsaw blades

Can anyone advise me on which jigsaw blades are best for coping mdf skirting please

you need a fret or coping saw
the best you can do with jigsaw will not give you a close radius

check out youtube videos there is a blade that works well for it although i cant remember which one... also unless youve got a coping foot attachemtent for your jigsaw youll find it awkward to do anyway.

i always just use my coping saw when ever im fiting skirting boards. with a bit of practice its easy enough to get a super tight joint

you can use these Bosch T101AO Jigsaw Blades Tight Curve but a nighmare unless you have 3 hands and about 40 strokes a min max
but as i say you cant do tight curves easilly with out the aid off small radius files

aye i just go with a coping saw and i do skirting regularly. it does take a while to learn but once its mastered its possible to achieve perfection pretty much every time. especially with mdf skirts.

i normally finish off with a half round file to fine tune if necessary

I normally back cut the straight piece about 5 degrees using my mitre saw or you can use a hand saw. Then I cope the remainder out with a coping saw. This is quite good for removing the remainder around the delicate parts.

aye i do same. also its sometimes a good idea to run a pencil over the profile to highlight the actual parts you need to cut a bit more
