Adding second light to switched circuit

I have an outside light. This feed from a light switch. It's 100w
I would like to add a second light to the circuit in parrell.
Is that okay to do if I take the feed from the existing outside light

as long as you realize parallel means a second light exactly copying the first and will never be other than duplicate without further wiring to separate functions

Yep.

Why is it 100W though? Surely not an LED?
