Is there a problem devloping on the server?

The server support people have said that the site is being attacked with a primitive form of DDOS, mainly from Singapore

I've emailed DavidIQ to see if he has a solution.

I'm afraid the site might be painful to use until we work out a viable solution!

For God's sake, what on earth does that achieve. I thought it was people reading my Worth a Watch Thread jamming it up

It was ok in the small hours, but not now. Perhaps the DOS people are asleep in the small hours?

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Thanks for letting me know.
I'm looking into solutions, but the server people are recommending using cloudflare, but I'm pretty sure that will mean that all users have to tick a checkbox asking if they are human each time the site is used, which I'm trying to avoid.
