I am sure you must have a rant, so why not add it here.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

1) Trying to sell something on Facebook market place.
I have posted several pictures of item for sale, all pictures are clear and in focus.
After a few days no enquiries and ad expires (no problem)
I renew listing, all pictures / text is still there, 2 days later I get a message from potential buyer. (want to guess the question)
"What make is the item?"
I thought for 10 seconds perhaps I didn't mention it, I checked and I had not mentioned make of item, but I thought that odd, looked at the pictures, guess what 2nd picture is of the item at a very easy angle showing item and.............its brand name.
I guess some people just don't look at the information in front of them.

I've been trying to sell my sons car on FB marketplace for a few months now. Every couple of days I get a message from an Indian/Pakistani person with the same question "what's your lowest price". Fuc$ing chancers!

I hate selling on FB marketplace, chancers always haggling for loads of, scammers and the stupid who ask daft questions such as where is collection from when it's clearly listed where

I had it on Autotrader at first but had no takers. It has a dent at the rear side panel that I was quoted £300 to fix so took £500 off the asking price. However that wasn't successful. I think the dent puts them off so I've got it booked in to get it fixed next week.Neelix wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 7:41 pmtry <a href="http://autotrader.com" class="skimwords-link" target="_blank" data-skimwords-id="1764814" data-skimwords-word="autotrader" data-group-id="0" data-skim-creative="300001" title="" occurrence="1" data-skim-node-id="14:tryAutotrader_1" style="">Autotrader</a><span style="position: absolute;"></span><span style="position: absolute;"></span>
FB market place is best avoided IMHO

I think I can answer that one. I believe it is a default setting, they just click and it sends you that message.

I follow football, I used to be ST holder but the Gary Lineker coverage on BBC News for the last 24 hours is way too much. I like the guy, he played for my club and won a trophy.....etc. But he resigned or whatever doesn't deserve so much coverage.
Just now BBC said, Gary has been on TV more years than his playing career. This is very important information for people to know. Who cares!
Correction: It was Sky news not BBC who gave this crucial fact.

The story was taking up space in my paper today, what do I care? I never listen to any of the pundits, they all spout shite. Come to think of it I rarely watch football these days. He has not done himself any good spouting lefty rubbish on social media. It is always best to tread a middle path and stay nonpolitical if you are an entertainer of sorts.
