Window gap

Post by Iamnotacat »

Hi there,
We have a window gap in the bathroom window on the left hand side. (Upvc, top hung). The window closes properly in the catch but there’s actual daylight and of course condensation when it’s colder. It was fitted about three years ago but the window company has gone bust.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks

It looks like the hinge might be badly set or bent. Although it is a DIY job in many ways, I would suggest getting a window service chap in, as they do this sort of work day in and day out. Check Yell for a guy in your area, they do blown units, broken handles etc.
