Repointing brickwork

Post by Distorted Vision »

There are other areas of brickwork on my house that need repointing. I think buying another angle grinder might be a worthwhile investment. Problem is the specifications don't state the spindle flange diameter.

Have you thought about an SDS+ chisel drill? For this job, you do not need the heavy breaker type SDS as you want to be able to hold it above your head. Something like this https://www.diy.com/departments/mac-all ... 251_BQ.prd A chisel will break out mortar in chunks so there is no dust everywhere This bit is worth a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no1r17WfBNc for sale https://www.screwfix.com/p/armeg-sds-pl ... 85mm/18218

Just ideas, but £100 on this combo could save you a lot of work.
