Installing Kair MVHR help

Post by azk404 »

Hello

I want to install a Kair MVHR to help with humidity in the kitchen and want to run through a potential installation method please.

I have an inside dimmer switch (that can be changed to a permanently on module??) which leads to an outside junction box. Could I use that to power the fan and control box as per the diagram? I can also add a exterior fused spur between the junction box and fan/control unit.

Would that be acceptable?

Do you have a neutral at the dimmer switch ?

What is the “control box” you refer to?

The control box is a humidity sensor that controls the fan and ideally it shout be place further away from the fan.

Yes there is a N.

The far left module is the one that leads outside.

I believe the right dimmer module I actually already made hard power a while back as that goes to a 2-gang plug above the fridge.

I very much doubt the power for that lot comes from a socket circuit

Ah thats not what I mean, that all comes from the mains box under the floor.

I have one of the modules powering a socket thats all.
