Hi boyz
I have an electric hob as shown in the photos. Two of the hobs have stopped working. Is there anything I could try myself to get them working?
Also is it worth trying to get it fixed? It costs about £100 to get someone to assess it (plus cost of fixing) versus £600 for a new one.
Any thoughts appreciated

Electric hob
Hi Rachael, have a look through this video and decide if you have the skills to do the job https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rv9tEHrBRII. The replacement elements can be found on Espares website, around £40 each, and you know which ones are not working. Just make sure the mains power is off. Good luck

Electric hob
It looks like a HK634060XB Ceramic Hob 60cm. AO have it listed at £358.00. I would replace it with new. If two have packed up, chances are the other two will soon follow suit.
