Power tool for cutting under door Frames

Post by Rapier503 »

Hi,
I am laying some laminate for and I want it to go under a door frame (Architrave) so I need to cut the architrave so I can slide the laminate under. What tool (Power or not) can I use to do this to cut the architrave (It is still on the door).
Some one showed me a power tool and called it a plunge saw, but the plunge saws I have had a look at on the internet are circular saws which
are not the same. The tool had a small blade sticking out. Can you post any web links to what it might be?

Thanks in advance,
