Spicy seafood pasta dish.

Post by Bludall »

I was in a rush to make a quick, tasty pasta dish last night, having been at work all day and shopping afterwards.

I sauteed a couple of diced red onions, crushed garlic, chopped red and yellow pepper a red chilli until soft, added two cans of chopped tomatoes and cooked through. I threw in a defrosted bag of squid, mussels, crayfish, king prawns and normal prawns to cook through at the end. It was tossed through a bowl of freshly cooked spaghetti and eaten by the whole family, even the dog had some prawns and mussels in his dish!

That sounds like the 'Dish from Hell', I'm not keen on shellfish or Pasta! :pukeleft: :pukeleft: :pukeleft:

Give me a nice 'British' steak, no chips, no mushrooms, no tomatoes, OK just a few peas

John,

I don't eat mussels, so my 7 year old has them. I like a good steak too but it's good to have a change.

Clams are better than mussels.

But mussels are better than nothing. Moules marinière is an easy dish.

I've never eaten clams. I'd like to try them though. I'll have to try and find some, I don't think I've ever seen them on the fish stall.

Hi Louise,
Your'e makinking me hungry again. over here they cook pasta with seafood italian style and believe me it's mouth watering. you have a lot in common with the missus, she likes walking and cooking. the trouble is that she won;t convince me for a 3 mile walk unless there's a free cnc lathe at the other end.

Hi Victor,

The funny thing is that my husband is like you, he likes having a go at things and is keen on history. We have several musical instruments on the go, everything from Apalachian mountain dulcimer to mandolin.

hi louise,
I also am keen on history and like music, so its true that opposite characters are attracted to each other. A bit of controversy spices up life.

Victor,

That's true! :thumbright: I'm not musical but our eldest daughter is a natural guitar player.
