, always check connections properly which is why we said that 1st. there is still no need to replace the wire, that would be a waste of time & money.
just for electrical info for you: -
when connecting cables, the reason most terminations snap is because people (including sparky's) terminate them single cored. the screw cuts into the core and snaps the termination (in exactly the same way yours has)
you should always strip off enough insulation to enable you to double the core over to give you twice the cross-sectional area to screw down onto.

Yes it is all twin and earth, it looks the same as some of the diagrams on other topics on this forum 2 neutral, 3 loop 2 live, the 3 loop are the lives, the 2 live is one to switch and one to light.
I wont check it just yet, i think i will get a book and read up on it and also i'll have a word with a sparky at work see what he reckons.

if you touched the fitting and another light came on and then you found a broken connection, as a sparky i am saying all you need to do is the above.Rich-Ando wrote:
