Re: Three fibs..one truth..
Edward Heath is...the correct answer. When I was working for Thelma Barlows son at a wine merchant in Salisbury, Edward Heath would come in with his bodyguard to order his supplies of Dom Perignon...

Re: Three fibs..one truth..
OK, I'm relatively new..you don't know me... but pick the true one out of these...
I once amputated a leg at a railway station
I once amputated a leg on a Dog
I once amputated a leg in the middle of the East Lancs road
I once amputated a leg at Birkenhead docks
All gruesome stuff!
BUT only one is true!

That one's a fib for starters, it's still today.Bit late tonight, I'll post one tomorrow
How do you amputate a leg on a dog? Shouldn't it be off a dog?
Anyhoo - Birkenhead Docks for me.
One day it will all be firewood.

Re: Three fibs..one truth..
The Truth is The East Lancs Road... I was on the front page of the Liverpool Echo as I did the deed...
The Docks thing... well there was a severe accident at the shipyards where a steel hauser snapped, whiplashed and took off a bloke's leg... they put him on the ferry and brought him to the hospital in Liverpool where I was working
The Railway station... another accident that was brought into my department....
The Dog - well that would be ILLEGAL...
