Re: all hail the return of the toon
can not for the life of me see why it was another corner. and karl darlow kicking off as he did would lead you to beleive that it was actually a goal kick

Re: all hail the return of the toon
Isn't it always the same! It's definitely a mind-sense thing for Newcastle.
Much like when I used to play darts I only tended to play to the strength of the opposition. If I was playing against a local 'league' lad I'd be throwing 11, 12, 13 and 14 dart 501's but against the regular pub members I'd end up on double 1 most times!
Newcastle need to fix their minds.

Re: all hail the return of the toon
well this season weve struggled massively against the top teams. discounting man city coz ney chance ya gana beat those guys just now really. but i dunno man utd were canny poor to be fair and i was pretty confident after the way we had started the game. then i was convinced they were gonna equalise right at the end so it was class to be watching it in the pub full of other fans and everyone celebrating each save, block and clearence almost as if it were a goal.
we dont often beat them. its always mint when we do like. newcastle have been beaten by manchester united more times than by any other team. so to beat them is class

Re: all hail the return of the toon
Masssssssssive result today for us. absolutely massive. 3-0 at yem to southampton. a huge stride towards guaranteeing we play premier league next season. and also the forces of darkness had their keeper sent off for handling outside the area. having seen the replays i would almost wonder if he did it deliberately.

newcastle united never have been relegated lower than the championship as it is now known. so never have played in league 1 unlike the mackems
