I thought new members could receive but not give. A bit like cabin boys in the Navy

Just received the first gas bill since the new boiler
740 units against 1400 the previous quarter.
Be really interesting to see the next one with a full quarter on the new boiler.

But the Monkey has an email button on his posting.moderator2 wrote:

All Ray has to do is to use that!
I do have to say that I hate these PMs and see little point of them for normal people with email as anyone posting on a forum already will have.

Pm's are brilliant for sending a quick message to someone online.
It's a forum facility you can choose to use or switch off as is yours.

How's the Intergas going Scruff?..................I've got a mate & I'm thinking of fitting one for him.
I'd value your views mate.
They said on a DIYdoughnuts thread that they can be bought directly from Intergas, is that the case?

Re: Intergas 24/18 HRE compact Combi
Hi DP
The thread on Donuts is talking Atmos/intergas whereas I have the Intergas Bromsgrove, virtually the same boiler.
Very impressed to date Dickie, and the Rhino flue, with the end turned up was a definite plus in my install.
The Integas can be ordered through Plumbase or direct 01527 888000.
The Atmos/Intergas can be ordered direct, not sure about details, but you can download the manuals for both in the sub forum (index)

Thanks for that I'll give them a bell. Sorry, I did read most of the thread, but I missed one bit; Did you fit Kit A or B?
Nice install by the way, I like the Hospital pipe clips, yeah we've also got loads of them left over from a job...............
Thanks again

Re: Intergas 24/18 HRE compact Combi
I fitted kit A but would have fitted kit B had I known before I ordered it.
Kit B is much better quality valves and easier to fit, only downside is hiding the vessel.
The install was a bit of a chuck it in and get the heating back on, so could have been better if I'd ripped the lot out and started from scratch.
