Neat Mitre cuts on Kitchen Trim

i use my festool kapex for kitchens. i am considering a smaller cordless dewalt though coz i do a fair few kitchens and the kapex is big.

i use mitre mate to glue them together as do well.... all fitters i know.

you get the little line where the join is. what i then do once its all fitted and pretty much the very final job i get a clean rounded metal thing like either a screwfriver shaft or also i use one of my box spanners for attaching taps to the sink. i press the rounded edge into the sharp point of the mitre and rub it up and down. it forces the edges together an they become almost invisible. works well

i use that for all sorts. ive done a few jobs where ive had to clad parts of stair cases with oak faced mdf. it closes the mitres up on that also. infact pretty much any mitre particularly in mdf itll work on.
