The only reason I mentioned her degrees was to try and show a commitment to try and be the best she can, in this particular field, but I do agree with a lot of the other comments made by other members.

These days, most young people seem to end up in careers that have nothing to do with the subject of their degree. Employers, especially the public sector, often hire people on the basis that they have a degree, any degree, not the relevance of that degree.
I know young someone with a criminology degree who has become a teacher, someone with a mechanical engineering degree has become a social worker, someone with a sports science degree who has become a recruitment officer for the local council, and so on.

The most common phrase uttered after receiving a degree is "would you like fries with that".
Don't take it personally......

Another child murder by 'parents' was reported today. This time the child might have been saved by Social Sevices who dismissed all the warnings from family and schools as the couple concerned were lesbian. The butch one was allegedly psychotic and used the sweet little girl as a punchbag as her mother looked on. Social Sevices were so woke they sent a letter to her concerned grandfather, who had sent them pictures of bruising, telling him that no action would be taken and the case closed as it was a malicious act on his part reporting it because he did not approve of the lesbian relationship.
Whoever wrote that should be charged as an accessory to murder.
What a fuxing discrace

Indeed. According to the child's babysitter, she reported her concerns to social services but every time ss visited they called at least an hour in advance to say they were on their way so the parents had time to cover the child's bruises.
