Because it's designed for a track is there any sideways movement between body and base for adjustment

Parkside / festool track is approx 8mm too wide

Adjuster is maxed out to the right so not able to offset any further

I'll need to buy a Dewalt rail or trim this one down - perhaps this helps someone else deciding on the Dewalt saws.

Strangely, looking on youtube the Dewalt plunge saw does work with festool rails. The "rail compatible" blade position must be different to the plunge saw.

if you look at the black knobs the metal work holding the motor frame to the base to the sde off it looks like there may be adjustment would be worth a loosen and see ??
