I am with fin , just bought a second hand Dewalt similar to this for the Soham Mens Shed and adjusted true as fin had said , my own 717 adjusts in same way for both axis , the Men’s shed saw has stop bolts with adjustment for the second axis.

Oh , using a square make sure it’s not sitting on blade teeth.

There is a method using 5 cuts which is very accurate , find it on u tube

It's not as explained in the video. I even put earth magnets on the blade away from the teeth and still got the same result.

Someone suggested the way I was testing the square I was testing the inside of the square but I was using the outside when against the saw. I just bought an engineers square to the British standard. I'll test it again later.
