To anyone that "did not get it" what network are you on?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

As I said I was in a pub restaurant today at 3pm. I have to say the siren was a bit underwhelming, the sound was quite low really and although a few phones were going off at once it hardly disrupted anything amongst the general noise in the place. It stopped as soon as I hit the okay button. Everything carried on as normal very quickly.

I was working with my phone in my car. When I opened it around 4pm I had a warning text. Don't know if I got a sound at 3pm. To be honest I forgot about it.

i was discussing newcastle united scoring 5 goals in the first 21 or whatever it was minutes vs tottenham. we were all extremely excited about what we had witnessed on the tv.
all of a sudden everyones phones were going off. ohh sh*t its that alert thing.
think there was a few emergency memes made up about tottenham not being owa clever at playing foota.
seemed that everyone in the westoe pub received the signal though.
my watch went nuts.

I was on a train at the time along with several other passengers of course. I heard it probably because loads of other phones went off at the same time. If I'd been alone I felt other noise would have drowned it out. It very nearly was by an announcement on the train and by the time I had got to my phone it had stopped. I presume that after this first test there will be annual tests?

I turned it off, I think I can spot an emergency happening near me. If I don't notice it, it's clearly not an emergency for me.
