Ze came at 97 ohms. Rainy day. Would reach 100's at a hot day...

This TT would not achieve anything.

How did we manage all those years ago? My RCD did not even say it was a type AC, but not an ELCB-v at least, I do think it's a problem when your boss tells you to do something you know is wrong, after all you want the job, can't afford a boss to say your a cantankerous so and so, so letting you go.

Your I am sure your reasonably sure it is wrong, so the question is how to tell your boss, "The ELI is too high, only getting X ohms, think this is a TT setup." seems to be easy way, followed by "What should I do about it?" and as a text message not voice, so you can show anyone you did tell him. All health and safety matters should be in writing.

Its all resolved.
The installation has a upfront 100ma rcd with a 30ma rcd protecting for faults. Didnt notice that for some reason.
It does meet disconnection times

I dont see why upfront RCD's dont comply with the regs. You can use them with double pole rcbos on a TT.

I dont see why upfront RCD's dont comply with the regs. You can use them with double pole rcbos on a TT.
