I have a Ryobi sander and corded drill and they are superb :wink:

pound for pound its Bosch for me ,cannot justify (or afford) Dewalt

aeg stuff is good aswell. i forgot i have an aeg 18 volt cordless too.

never used hitachi gear before so cant really offer an opinion on those

I must admit that Bosch are my favorite, although I do have the Dewalt 18v 5 pack kit and a few other Dewalt 18v tools.

Ryobi seem to be a good choice for DIY and I often see them for sale at really good prices.

I have a Bosch 12v twin pack in the van that is 8 years old and the batteries are still going strong, some of my Dewalt 18v batteries have only lasted a year or so which is very disappointing, this could be because I used the 15 minute fast charger on them, which I believe is a bad idea. This of course makes you wonder why they make a 15 min charger in the first place?
