True MS 'own' the market. A 'market' where computers are used at homes by Mums and Children - say it all really. Oooh! UNIX is SO complex I don't think I can use that coz I am stupid, OK then use Windoze!!" Is that an excuse for humanity generally?

It's a bit like comparing a Leyland Metro (MS Windows) with an Aston Martin (Apple).

to be fair a better analergy would be comparing a car to an hgv as you need a complete new skills level to operate it somthing that takes time and money to master

Since installing SP3 on XP last week I keep having problems connecting to the interweb. Keep getting some message about "Authentication Failed" from something called Thomson ("images and beyond") asking me to enter my AOL username and password. Very reluctant to do so because I don't understand who they are or how they got in on the act. Can anyone tell me what to do here please, cos it's extremely frustrating. ::b Thanks for any advice or info.
Small boys in the park. Coats for goalposts. Enduring image, isn't it? Marvellous.

My PC just installed SP3

I was having problems reading DVD Movies, and now they are fine, so it's a :thumbright: :thumbleft: from me
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
