End Roof Ridge Tiles - Come Off

Hi All,

I am wondering if you can help me. My house is just over 2 years old and built by a company accredited by the NHBC. In the recent winds one of the end tiles fell of and the other is precariously perched, should this have happened to the end ridge tiles as I thought they had to be mechanically fixed. The other houses on the estate seem unaffected by the wind.

There are 4 pictures and apologies if it seems that the thread has been hijacked but it looks like you guys know what you are talking about.

Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Tom

I suggest getting in touch with the builders T Mc, as you say the end tiles SHOULD be fixed, if they aren't it's down to them to fix properly.
Welcome to the forum :hello2: and let us know how you get on. :thumbright:

certainly looks like a dry ridge system which would mean mechanical fixing (no way to bed the ridge) short screws? nothing to fix to? either way it would definately fall into the same category as the earlier post.
