lol Stoday ... actually I think old Robert would make quite a good Prime Minister of Britain on the following grounds -
(a) He cannot possible be worse than Mr. Brown.
(b) He is quite familiar with corruption and back-handers so will fit in quite well at Westminster and not need any training.
(c) He knows how to line his own pocket before anyone else gets a look in.
(d) He is well able to bring a country to its knees and close to bankruptcy.
(e) The purpose of tax payers is to keep you and your mates in the style of life to which they have become accustomed.
(f) Dissidents, such as Conservative MP's, will be silenced by the Gestapo... sorry the police.... entering their offices.

I like this. they still get something for nothing, or have I miss the point. The money is administered by the House of
Commons and paid against invoices – MPs do not receive the money
themselves.
What we want to know is who authorizes the purchase in the first place, bit like going shopping with a blank cheque, send the Mrs on a shopping and don't forget the invoice.

The invoices are paid to the companies the MP has set up with his wife & kids as directors.thescruff wrote:The money is administered by the House of

I should be dead; I've cheated the Grim Reaper yet again by surviving my third heart attack in June.
