another option is a staggerd wall that could stagger slightly or a bit more to allow a wardrobe space at the end of the bed fitted or otherwise for example with the wall kicking back into the room to allow the other room to have a simmilar space

It's a ground floor, the UFH pipes run parallel to the joists and are fastened onto 140mm Kingspan with the chipboard flooring about 5mm above the pipes. It means I'll have to notch each noggin in 4 places and cut a channel in the Kingspan to drop the noggin into.
