Weegie,
I am going to have to baulk on this and suggest that you look in your local paper or yellow pages for a reputable computer guy who can have a proper look at it.
There is a limit to what we can do over the net and as you don't appear to have a disc nor a decent, recent backup it woiuld be safer for someone local to have a look at it.
Sorry to have to give in on it, but because of the internet connection being hit and miss, it is getting out of the reach of normal free cleaning software.

Right an update.

Computer is working via the main tool bar at the top.

It isn't working with the google or MSN tool bars below it. Still re-directs me to other sites. Will keep you informed of progress.

I have pressed the X button to get rid of MSN and google as my tool bar. I have installe Yahoo as a tool bar which seems to be working. :thumbright:
