im in pretty much the same boat mate! i bought a three bed terrace that needs to be stripped out and re-done.

Looks good buddy!!

Kitchen now pretty much finished.

All cabling run throughout the house.

Sockets in every room.

Coax in every room

Cat 6 in every room

Phone sockets in every room.

New combi boiler in and connected, Worcester of course :)

Fireplace removed ad knocked down

Radiator put in front room

Fitting bathroom this weekend, then remaing jobs inside..

Windows and exterior doors (next week).

Strip all wallpaper
Plaster all the walls
Fit new coving
fit new architraves + doors
fit new skirting
Fit carpet, job done!!!!!!

Cant realy see that last pic but it look like nothing is earthed and everything is live. You've done a realy nice job on the kitchen cabinates mate & nice plastering too.

it would look like everything is live, but it isnt.

The idiot that originally wired the house used red as live and neutral, so it was a Fuc$ing nightmare, so just started from scratch!

Looks alright from where I am sitting. It is certainly all starting to take shape now.

Just my preference but having the cooker hood and chimney out, tiling right up and then re-fitting looks nice. I never thought about it before but did it for a client a couple of months ago. Actually I had to tile around it with bloody mosaic tiles. The whole kitchen was done in the little tinkers.

What is happening where the tiles are short of the door to the hallway but overhanging end of worktop?? Still to do or finished?

Will have architraves on the door so will fit tight up :)

I also forgot to mention that the kitchen is now plastered wall and ceilings, as well as new coving. Same in the bedroom. Just got to tile bathroom before I can move in!!!

That explains that one then, it is hard to tell in the pic if architrave is on or not.

wow just been reading all about your house.

Job well done so far!

I just finished doin my kitchen with my husband and have had enough of diy for a long time!

Look forward to seeing more pictures!

What look are u goung for in the whole house? traditional or modern?

Kitchen now fully grouted, just got to silicone where tiles join the worktop.
