I like it but much tooooooo much for my brain to take in.
Perhaps Chez could do a video after the multimeter one.

Re: swivelling crosslide
In fact it's a 200 year old German invention and in those times it was driven with pedal power. the beauty of it is that the design possibilities are endless.building it was a challenge especially using re-cycled stuff. the only things i bought were the shaft, bolts and the chuck.StyXSIS wrote:Just watched a couple of yt vids & some with pics and that is frickin amazing i thought that kind of stuff was done on a cnc miller. Re: swivelling crosslide
I've tweaked the machine a bit as you always find room for improvement. Now hopefully i will find some free time to work with it as over here the temperature is soaring rapidly and the impulse to take a dip in the sea followed by a couple of cold pints would be greater than that of getting sweaty and dusty in my garage.nick200 wrote:That is very impressive and glad that you shared it with us all.

You will have to put the pictures on here of the parts that you make. Sounds like you are not in the UK, wheabouts are you?rotciv wrote:I've tweaked the machine a bit as you always find room for improvement. Hi Nick 200, As the "Location" under my avatar says, i live in Malta which is a small island in the centre of the mediterranean just 60km away from Sicily. As a former British colony, it is quite popular with British tourists. The warm turquoise sea and open air bars pose a very strong temptation in summer that is difficult to resist.nick200 wrote:You will have to put the pictures on here of the parts that you make.
