Sounds a bit drastic but have cut some off the bottom of the pan before  with diamond blade slight chipping covered by mastic joint :-)

WOW! Definately too drastic for me!!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I am sorry tryanything but that is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard

if you are going to go to that ammount of effort then just raise the pan

OK - Followed some of the advice here ( and not all as some beyond my abilities) and flooring is down. Me and the Boss are happy with it (just got new skirting to fit now).

Made up template from Cardboard ... I cut lots of slits in it so it could take on the shape well. Then when got shape, used a marker pen to draw outline read for trimming:

This is the template for the rear of the pan

Cut out flooring using template:

This is front of pan plus awkward bits for non-stright wall and architrave

And this is finished floor (except Skirting, Threshold a sealent around Pedesal and Pan):

I spent a bit of time working out best way to have the tile pattern and be able to fit around the sanitary ware and this seemed to work out best.

So cheers for the Advice :thumbright: Mucho Appreciated

Hi tim'll fix it
I did say drastic, problem i had was underfloor heating had been put on original floor and already raised using offset multiquicks just couldn't get anymore on the height without making adjustments to cast iron stack so just took 10mm off bottom of pan, I know it sounds drastic but cant see any problem with it
