How much more should I get?? Cheers, Jas

I was thinking maybe 20 but at £26 a sq metre is that overkill????
£26/mtr is quite expensive. I've noticed a huge variance in price. I was talking to a fitter at a local carpet shop and he said that if I haggle 'I should get a better price' than that advertised. Internet prices are around £20-22 so I will be trying to get closer to that

As a rough guide
We know your boards are 15.6mm wide so your going to lose approx 31.2 off the end of each row of boards laid
We know your boards are 137.6 long divided by 31.2 so now we know you will need 1 extra board for every 5 rows
assuming the room is squarish measure from corner to corner to determine total number of rows and divide by 5 to find how many extra boards needed hope its of some help have fun

I think its 156mm off each end cut not necessarily every length, the first 3 or 4 boards maybe and the last 3 or 4 but not the majority of the floor

Also, unless I have got it wrong, the angled cut off an end board can be put at the opposite of the room to start another row, just like on a straight lay - so while you WILL have more waste generally, it is not like every mitre cut will be waste
