if you need an extra say 9mm take some 6mm ply the same size as the bed but small enough in the right areas to allow pivoting to 47deg in both directions place double sided sticky tape on all of the non moving part of the bed
stick on the ply "FIRMLY" cut the "v" [45% left and right]from the ply

in general 6mm will give you an extra 9-12mm on your cut because of the blade angle :wink:
