The problem isn't getting new cells. I know where to get genuine A123 cells.

The problem is getting the old-school DeWalts to fit them into.

The interior design of the new battery packs is different. :cb

wonder why unless the batteries are physically a different size :dunno:

Yep, just as I suspected, I got a battery this weekend to repair, and what was it filled with? Shitty Samsung IFR cells.

This is is disappointing.

The A123 "M1" Cell is a magnicent cell. These Samsung 18650 cells are a joke by comparison.
You dont explain why the Samsung cells are inferior?
They have twice the capacity of the older Li-Ions?
