Re: iPhones
yup I dont understand the iphone stuff... people are proper mugs most of the time. sure it may be good for some businesses needs but its not half as cost effective as getting a reasonable phone contract and a laptop.

Re: iPhones
When I was looking a couple on months back I had a choice between an iPhone 4S at £100 plus £41 a month (18 months), or a Galaxy S2 for free plus £24 a month.
No brainer!

Re: iPhones
I'm currently looking for a new phone as the Dell Streak has been broken for well over 6 months.
This Nokia N79 is ok as a phone and alarm clock but that is about it
There is just too much choice

Re: iPhones
The S3 is a VERY nice phone. Probably the reason I got a good deal on the S2 is that it was just a month or so before the S3 was due out.
Just been given an iPad by work and it's my first personal experience of Apple products since the old Apple II (that dates me a bit!). Have to say, the iPad is APPALLING compared to other tablets I've used.

Re: iPhones
I have an HTC Desire S, which the first screen cracked and HTC said it wasnt covered by the warranty as "i must have broke it"... CPW took it in for a quote, sent it back still broken and no quote for the repair, so i kicked off on the phone...they said "appalling and frankly ridiculous service, we'll replace the handset with a refurbed one for free", new handset works way better than the old one, for starters it doesn't randomly crash and boots up in next to no time from fully turned off
now second screen isn't looking so flash...then again i chucked some change in the same pocket a few weeks back when in a hurry....who would have thunk 2ps were so abrasive......who the heck decided glass was a good idea for a phone screen anyway??!
Battery life ain't bad, get 2 - 3 days normal use on it before having to charge it, doesn't beat the cheap old nokia I use as a business phone, standby measured in weeks and talk time something like 9 hours.
