Not a chance! It is a very poor mans iPad indeed.
Even worse due to your dreadful spelling errors above.
Your argument carries even less weight if you have to resort to pointing out spelling mistakes!
Next you will be telling us how you had loads of issues with a laptop which came with Windows, but you saw the holy light and purchased it a MacBook Pro and it was MUCH faster. But, you will neglect to mention you are comparing a £250 laptop against a £1200 competitor. But it's better, right.......

Actually Gary spec wise a nexus more than competes with the iPad and as you pointed out it is a fraction of the price I mearly stated the benefits of android over iOS . and actually pointing out my miss typings through haste on a touch pad just shows your maturity level.
Outright the nexus is out selling the iPad month on month

The word bull and **** comes to mind with that comment. The iPad is feared among other tablets as it is best in the market. Far better and more advanced than any other competitors.
Like I stated before a Nexus is a poor mans iPad for those who wish they had the money for one.
Obviously jealous that he can't afford such a decent 'state of the art' piece of kit.

As a newbie, perhaps you could be slightly less critical of our more established members. If you ever want to become a more established member yourself.
Edit. warning sent.

Tablet os sales chart
http://www.statista.com/topics/841/tabl ... g-systems/
I just stated if he disagreed with Microsoft ethics etc then apple are no better and advised him to buy android instead as its non profit and open source with more developers as a result which is not an opinion but fact. Then I recommend after much research the tablet I picked after spending months looking for the right one. As for what I can afford. That's non of your business but at time of buying finances were not an issue as my missus was a strategic accounts manager for RBS head office I doubt your house hold wage outweighed mine. Most guys and gals on here will know a quality price of kit in opposed to cheap tat and know that if it's worth it you pay the extra... However all I'm saying is just cos its got a high price tag it doesn't mean it's better.
both are quality prices of kit unlike the £80 price of genetic unbranded garbage from Dixon's... I'm not disputing that.
All babble aside, it's the op choice and we can only give him advise I have tried to be informative backing up my statements with fact and stats you have just mouthed off. Basically if I read this back as an impartial reader I hope they would summarise that I'm just trying to help.

I agree with Mark on the points above.
It's also a bit of a price point comparison which should be taken into account when comparing prices - 199 for the 32GB Nexus vx 479 for the iPad, some 280 quid difference.
Worth bearing in mind the size difference too. The Nexus is nice to hold in the hand and read over long periods, I find the iPad not so much, it's just too heavy.
As above, cost doesn't come into it for me either - so
(although I'm not married to his missis).

Think this will help you 'mark21lancs' realize that the Nexus is nowhere near as good as the iPad as it has only sold 3.1 million
Compared to the 22.9 million iPads sold. Therefore your information is inaccurate and the link you provided is
By the way does it make you feel less of a man (if you are one) that the woman in your household is the breadwinner?

Not so much as I feel shafted when the breadwinner is the uk tax payer.

Perhaps you should read it again more slowly.
Make no sence to me that a £400.quid computer I just bought for a mate is not as good as my £2800.00 quid Mac Pro lappy.
