"My name is jg, and I am a ryobi tart"
Most of my ryobi tools are great, see the ryobi section for a full review.
Here's my collection so far.
Combi Drill
Angle Drill
Jigsaw
Circular Saw
Dust Buster "Tough Sucker"
Corner Sander
Reciprocating Saw
Extending Pole Pruner
3x 1.7Ah NiCd batteries
For general DIY use, they are great value for money.
The combi drill for me is a bit underpowered, If doing any masonary work, I just get the mains SDS drill out. Some tools really eat batteries, although there are now 4Ah LiOn batteries which should help with this.
I got the initial kit (first 6 tools and 3xbatteries and a large tote bag to hold it all for £115 which is an absolute bargain, but this was a few years back, in a closing down sale at TJ Hughes.

old batteries gradually loose power
if your batteries are about 3 years old you will be down about 25-40% on power
get the 4ah battery and charger and your drill will be on turbo power
