Never tried that.

I did use a 2p piece and tap it up the reject slot to knock the microswitch on the Defender arcade game

Used to get two little cut lines on the forefinger - this machine makers never deburred the bottom of the slots

(nowadays, I could sue for £50k due to trauma

)

The Irish £ was worth significantly less than a UK £. I suspect that if the Scots were to have their own pounds, they too would be worth less than the UK £ because their social expenditure is so high. I reckon the english are propping up the scots who would otherwise have accelerating inflation like Zimbabwee.

The Scots do have their own banknotes , we get loads of them around here in the summer months when the Scots holiday here!

what he actualy means is a seperate currency not tied to the english pound with its own official value that goes up and down
